The Solstorm Saga
Post-collapse survival. Regenerative future. Set against the haunting beauty of the Arctic Norwegian coast.
Solstorm is the first novel in a four-part saga chronicling humanity’s struggle to rebuild after a solar storm wipes out modern civilization. Set in Northern Norway—among fjords, wind-lashed peaks, and ancient forests—this saga blends survival realism, emotional depth, and world-building rooted in lived experience.
This is not a dystopia. It’s a return to balance.
Think:
The Last of Us – emotional survival
Station Eleven – slow-burn literary drama
The Lord of the Rings – majestic location-driven epic (but in Norway)
Rooted in realism – The creators have lived this world: off-grid survival, Arctic sailing, regenerative food systems.
Set in true northern wilderness – Untapped cinematic backdrops.
Diverse cast, powerful leads – Fierce women, found family, Indigenous wisdom.
Rich lore and expansion potential – 4 novels + 9 novellas spanning 100 to 1000 years post-collapse.
Themes that resonate now – Decentralization, ecological healing, hope after the fall.

Tommy Forsberg is a Norwegian author, survivalist, sailor, pilot and homesteader. He was raised in the north of Norway and has lived off-grid, sailed Arctic waters, crossed oceans and rebuilt his life with his own hands. Solstorm is fiction drawn from real experience.
Erin Forsberg is the artist, filmmaker, and co-visionary behind the saga. Her original oil paintings are used as the book’s cover art, and her cinematic background shapes the series' visual tone.
Together, they built this world not in theory, but in practice.
This is not fantasy. It’s a lived-in future. And it’s ready to be filmed.
We’re seeking bold, visionary partners—filmmakers, studios, game developers—who believe in stories that matter. If you’re creating narrative-driven media with depth, grit, and truth, we’d love to connect.
